Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-19

These terms are a short, plain-language summary of how you may use this free Morse code translator. They are not legal advice. If you need a formal agreement for a business or high-stakes use, talk to a lawyer.

What this site is

This site provides a browser-based Morse code translator and related reference pages. Encoding, decoding, audio playback, WAV download, tap input, and microphone listening run on your device. You do not create an account. The site does not charge for these tools.

Acceptable use

Use the tool for learning, practice, and ordinary conversion between text and Morse code. Do not misuse the site to attack, overload, or disrupt the service or other visitors’ access. Do not use it to break the law.

No warranty

The translator and charts are provided as-is, without a promise that they are complete, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Codes, timing, and audio may differ from other tools or from what a human operator expects in the field.

Not for emergencies or critical signals

Do not rely on this site for distress calls, aviation or maritime safety, medical situations, or any other case where a wrong or missing signal could cause harm. It is not an emergency service, a radio station, or a substitute for licensed procedures and equipment. If you need help, use official emergency channels for your location.

Your content and share links

Text and Morse code you enter stay in your browser for translation and playback. If you copy a share link, the message sits in the page hash. Anyone with that link can read it. You are responsible for what you type and for what you share.

Intellectual property

The site’s layout, branding, and original written pages belong to this site’s operator. Morse code itself is a public signalling system. You may use the free tool and reference charts for personal and educational use. Do not scrape, mirror, or republish the site wholesale without permission.

Privacy and contact

How the site handles information is described on the Privacy page. Accessibility notes are on the Accessibility page. Questions about these terms: [email protected] or the Contact page.
